This is a manually-curated list of websites I found that I like. This list is in no particular order.


sandspiel.club - A falling sand game and creation platform.

indieweb.page* - A website were you can explore the Indieweb by clicking a button which will take you to a random blog post on an Indieweb site.

radio.garden** - A website which let's you find and listen to radio stations around the world using an interactive map interface.

cobalt.tools* - A website that allows you to download videos and media from a variety of social media platforms.

radiofreefedi.net* - A community radio network of Fediverse artists on the Internet. Currently has 3 radio channels to choose from to listen to.

nitter.net* - An open source, lightweight, and privacy-respective Twitter frontend.

spacehey.com* - A privacy-respective retro social network based off of how MySpace looked and functioned in the mid to late 2000's.

mcbroken.com** - A website that let's you see if the McDonald's ice cream machine at McDonald's locations around the world is broken or not (context).

wiby.me* - A retro-style search engine that indexes small-scale and/or simple personal websites that can be viewed on almost any computer or web browser.

webdesignmuseum.org - An archival Internet museum of images and videos of old websites, apps and software.

myretrotvs.com** - A collection of several sites (My 50's/60's/70's/80's/90's/00's TV) that are virtual televisions that play numerous different types content on hundreds of different "channels" through the decades.

dustinbrett.com* - A personal website designed as a functioning Windows 10-styled desktop OS in your web browser. The desktop OS environment is called daedalOS.

windows93.net* - A parody website designed with functioning Windows 9x-like desktop. The desktop and apps are designed to roughly represent how the Internet was in the early 2000s.

projects.kwon.nyc/internet-is-fun* - A page that lists different Internet manifestos from various different personal website creators.

jsfree.org* - A directory that lists different websites and online services that do not use or require JavaScript to be enabled to function properly.

endoflife.date* - A website that documents the end of support (EOL) dates for numerous different pieces of software and operating systems in a searchable directory format.

wttr.in* - Displays the 3-day weather forecast for your region in ASCII art.

rs.sjoy.lol* - An aggregator of randomized RSS feeds from personal blogs and websites.

ddial.com* - An online community that recreates a former online chat service known as Diversi-Dial (DDial) that was popularized in the 1980s and remained somewhat active until the 2000s, and was essentially the spiritual successor to IRC chats. Currently has 8 accessible platforms through either telnet or a web browser, including the browser-only platform Magviz.

infinitemac.org** - An online emulator for classic MacOS and NeXT system software and programs.

ourworldofpixels.com* - A website where you and other people can draw publicly-visible pixel art on an infinite white canvas (no sign-in needed!).

fedia.io* - A feed aggregator and microblogging platform for Fediverse content.

feedle.world** - A search engine and aggregator of blogs and podcast RSS feeds.

ftvt.fiona.onl* - A free trans voice analyzer. All data is processed in the browser, so no tracking or profiling!

symbol.wtf* - A website that lists common Unicode special characters and symbols and copy them in one click.

greensdictofslang.com** - Searchable dictionary and historical usages of slang terms.

lmno.lol* - Free tracker and ad-free blogging platform (Requires invite to use; can be tested for free on any unclaimed handles, see FAQ).

aux.computer* - Alternative NixOS fork (Not available to use yet).

deshittify.us* - Free and privacy-respecting dis-enshittificated tools. Currently has a QR code and passsword generator tools.

Notes:

* = Site is free of advertisements, pop-ups, trackers, etc.

** = Site has at least 1 tracker, but no advertisements or pop-ups.

A site link that is striked out means that it is no longer accessible.
